You are invited!
It’s an opportunity to work on creating new resources that you need for your community. Already a number of global movements that share their resoruces on Max7 are preparing to join the FlashLab and build resources together to give away freely!
1. What is a FlashLab?
FlashLabs launched last year and many groups have been involved. Hundreds of new resources have been created and trialled in this simple method. The FlashLab is a:
● Simple guided and collaborative process.
● For teams spread across the world.
● Working virtually, over 4-6 week period.
● To start, work on and finish resources you need.
● In your language and for your people.
It is so inspiring and energizing to work alongside like-minded followers of Jesus from all around the world.
2. What will this FlashLab do?
This FlashLab process is open to any work team. Already we have teams who want to work on resources for families on mission, youth leadership, children’s generosity, fitness, trauma recovery, community engagement, generosity, and unreached people of all ages. You can add your movement, organization or church needs to this list and make it at the FlashLab!
3. How does it work?
You will be given a FlashLab Kit, an overview of the process and weekly zoom updates (in Sept/Oct) and helpful ideas for your working team. Your working team decides what you work on, when you meet as a team, and who does what.
Here's how you can be involved:
● Bring a team and a project to work on that your community needs.
● Bring a team to work in your language (groups have worked in the past in Portuguese, Spanish, Ukrainian and English).
● Or join a team working in an area you are interested in (these will be explained at the start of the FlashLab).
● You can be involved in many ways. You could: write, brainstorm ideas, think strategically, film videos, design images, create Bible-storytelling resources, edit, proofread, give theological input, translate, and help complete resources for sharing.
● The resources can be shared through your channels, through Max7.org or distributed in other ways.
4. An Exciting Kingdom Process
A global FlashLab gives everyone the opportunity to give time and ideas and offer our unique blend of passions, skills and interests to benefit the Body of Christ. Every person can be as involved as they choose. Experience the whole creative process. Work inter-culturally and internationally. Join an energetic, committed and diverse group of believers who want to reveal and share their creative and practical gifts to serve the Kingdom - just like you!
5. When is it?
We start the FlashLab September 4th 2023 with a zoom call and finish in mid-October. Choose a time that works for you and click the links below to register your interest. AND to join a Launch Zoom call.
