Hello Max7 friends!
Leadership teams work well as we bring many areas of strength to our team. It improves our interactions with those whom we lead.
How do we welcome leaders who have special needs and empower them to lead in their strengths?
This All Ability KidsGames manual tells some success stories of Special Needs leaders and helps you consider how God loves to work through all people who love him. Everyone is called to serve!
One interaction that often occurs is the crossover with Gifted people who also have Special Needs. This leader's guide for Gifted and Talented children/ leaders will help you explore how to help those leaders work in their strengths as well.
I want to keep on talking about Mentoring. A lot of group leaders feel like they have to DO EVERYTHING. If you are committed to developing your leaders, then you make space for them to succeed or fail, and by do this you make room for them to grow AND for your ministry to grow. If you do everything, then you will always end up doing everything - your ministry will be limited and your leaders wont fulfil their potential. Mentor your leaders and you will be able to hand over responsibility to others and keep growing the ministry.
Be blessed!
Jane- for the Max7 team
